Cosplay Fusion was held last weekend, June 27, at Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati City. With the likes of Maxicollector supporting the event, and the ever-popular Gosiengfiao sisters, Alodia and Ashley, along with stage performer Marcelle Fable, hosting it, the turn-out was great, as expected.

Since last May, we’ve been hearing word about an upcoming toy convention, and sure enough, when June rolled in, there it was. And so, last June 13 and 14, 2009, The 8th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention (TOYCON) was held at Megamall Megatrade Hall 2 & 3, just as promised.

If you’re one of those folks who are curious about, or actually prefer wearing a fundoshi for homo-erotic purposes (er…), the least we can do is point you towards correct methods of wearing the said Japanese thong.

Last April 25, local otaku trooped to the airy halls of SMX over at SM Mall of Asia to attend the 2009 Shizen Orchestra. Of course, we have to give EVERYONE who attended the event a pat on the back, as they were able to make it to the venue despite the grumpy, as well as schizophrenic weather lately…

Last April 5, our little team of minions made their way to Megamall to attend the last day of the 3-day Ozine Fest 2009 event. And was the trip worth it? Definitely.

First of all, we have to note that the event was HUGE. There were so many attendees, that Megatrade Hall 2 was literally PACKED to the point that you could barely move, and both cosplayers and attendees were spilling out into the rest of the mall’s top floor…
