Cosplay galore~

The event featured musical performances by Do’Ahou, Himitsu Heiki, Japan Baby, Onigiri Infusion, Raika and Rtschrck. On top of that, the cosplay competition was also hosted by none other than the absolutely FABULOUS local Hard Gay Man (a LoliDudes rolemodel, by the way. We love you!!), while the panel of judges included Ms. Alodia Gosiengfiao. There were also a whole bunch of artists’ booths, as well as kiosks that sold all these lovely little trinkets and accessories that we never could resist. Last but not least, another popular attraction at the event has been the DokiDoki Kissaten Maid and Butler Cafe, which served food from Bona Coffee.

The LoliDudes weren’t able to attend the event personally, but our friends and correspondents have informed us that it was lovely. Besides being told wonderful stories of a venue which was large enough to hold all participants, and the well-maintained facilities, it has also reached our ears that some lucky person, another Hard Gay cosplayer, has garnered a kiss on the lips from The Great Hard Gay. Whoever you are, WE SALUTE YOU! Hehe…

On a side note, it HAS crossed our minds that it was a little strange if it had been that a cosplayer was cosplaying a cosplayer… but then again, stranger things have happened before. Like those Bleach filler episodes.

ANYWAY, moving on~~…

We’ve also taken a look at all the photos that has been taken by one of our correspondents especially for us, and we were SO glad to see that so many awesome cosplayers have turned up for the event. If we had to choose, we’d name our personal favorites as the Air Gear group, the FFXIII Judge, the Witch-king of Angmar, the Gurren Lagann mech, the Bubble Head Nurse, Sora from Kingdom Hearts, the young Sugintou cosplayer, the Nana Osaki coslpayer, and Captain Planet (GO PLANET!!).

Oh, another thing that we learned was that the Bubble Head Nurse has been such a trooper! We’ve been told by one of our correspondents that they have spied Miss Nurse’s heels to have been red and raw from the shoes she was wearing at the time, and yet she gamely posed for everyone. Seriously, we can only imagine, but that must have HURT. So, Miss Bubble Head Nurse, if you’re reading this, know that we think you rock. ^_^
